Simon Filipovic is the founder and Managing Director of Edgestone Developments Pty Ltd. From 1999 to 2008, Simon worked in various forms of accounting roles, predominantly in the construction sector. After gaining full Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualifications, and working for reputable companies such as AV Jennings (Management Accountant), Metricon (Group Land Accounting Manager) and the Ubertas Group (Chief Financial Officer), Simon acquired a building license in 2009 and established Edgestone Developments. From its inception, Edgestone quickly formed a strong reputation for delivering outstanding quality projects within projected timeframes. Over 80 percent of Edgestone’s client based projects are through word of mouth referrals. Edgestone Developments can produce outstanding quality and workmanship in its projects because of the subcontractor relationships it has forged since 2009. It has formed a strong team with all of Edgestone’s sub contractors, and works extremely closely with each of them to ensure best practice benchmarks are achieved and maintained.
