Who We Are & What We Do

After over ten years of working as an accountant (predominantly in the construction sector), Simon Filipovic made the transition from accounting to establishing the private construction company Edgestone Developments Pty Ltd in 2009. Edgestone Developments is a residential builder and developer specialising in all forms of residential construction, such as new homes, multi unit developments, project management and consulting.

Since 2009, Edgestone Developments has completed a large number of projects predominantly in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne, such as Burwood, Balwyn, Mount Waverley, Glen Waverley, Ashburton, Box Hill North, Box Hill South, Templestone, Chadstone, Oakleigh, Bentleigh East among others.

Edgestone Developments prides itself on satisfying the clients expectations in two important areas, namely completing projects with outstanding workmanship and within or to specified timeframes. We take the responsibility of building someone’s future home very seriously, completing projects to expectations and within budget.

Edgestone Developments has no desire to progress to a volume home builder. However, it plans to continue to construct and complete 10-15 projects per annum. Its mix of projects will vary from client oriented work to acquiring its own land and developing spec products.

We engaged Simon Filipovic (Edgestone Developments) to construct two townhouses in Mount Waverley. From the beginning we found Simon very professional and pleasant to deal with. The end product was two wonderful houses that my family and my parents reside in that was delivered well before time and within budget.
